Award Winning Design for a Commercial Renovation in Eugene

commercial design in Eugene, exposed raw wood finishes, interior architecture, architecture, creative space

Winning the mayor’s choice award in the 2019 Eugene AIA/ASLA People’s Choice Awards, the Bard building’s Funky Architecture is what good design can be. A complete transformation! The installation of north facing clerestory windows and supporting shed roof coupled with large skylights create a mezzanine that we are proud of! A few small creative architectural elements combine in a composition that is warm, energetic, and supportive for creative design and collaboration. Intentional use of finished plywood surfaces and exposed wood structures allowed for a budget friendly design that is warm and inviting. What was once an unassuming and uninviting space was transformed into a place we are proud to share with the community. This place is Drawn, https://drawn.agency/.
